Heavy Equipment Rentals in Idaho Falls, ID
Whether you are a commercial contractor running a large build or a homeowner tackling a weekend project, Double Edge Equipment has the machinery you need to get the job done. We are a locally owned and family-operated rental company based in Idaho Falls, and we have been putting customers first since 2013. Our rental fleet is rigorously maintained, our pricing is transparent, and our service is the kind you can actually count on.
What SetsDouble Edge Apart
Renting from a big corporate chain often means surprise fees, inconsistent equipment, and slow support when something goes wrong. We built Double Edge as the alternative to all of that.
The price we quote is the price you pay. No hidden cleaning fees. No environmental surcharges. Just straightforward, honest pricing.
Broken equipment costs you money. If a machine goes down on your job site, our service team will have a mechanic on-site within one to two hours, or we will swap the machine out the same day. We run three field trucks and keep qualified mechanics on staff, so we are never far when you need us.
We work around your schedule. For weekend DIY projects, pick up your equipment on Friday evening, return it Monday morning, and pay for just a single day as long as the machine is used minimally.
Our Equipment Categories
We maintain a large, well-serviced fleet across a wide range of categories. Whatever your job calls for, there is a good chance we have it ready to go.
Telehandlers
Our reach forklifts are among our most requested machines. They are highly versatile on framing jobs and built for long term construction builds where reliable material placement matters.
Earth Moving
Mini excavators, track skid steers, and wheel loaders make up our earth moving lineup. We are also a proud Yanmar dealer, so you can count on quality iron across the board.
Compaction
We carry compaction rollers sized for every Idaho job site, from 36 inch, 5,000 pound walk behind units up to 84 inch highway rollers. Our inventory is built with Idaho soil conditions in mind.
Lifting Equipment
From scissor lifts and personnel lifts to articulating and telescopic boom lifts, we have aerial solutions for both commercial and residential work at any height.
Ground Thaw and Heaters
Keep your crew warm and your project moving through Idaho winters with our towable ground thaw heaters. Cold weather does not have to mean lost productivity.
Sweeper
Keep your job site or commercial lot clean with our walk behind and stand on sweeper and broom equipment.
Skid Steer Attachments
Get more out of your skid steer with our broad attachment selection, including general purpose and compactor buckets, pallet forks, jibs, snow plows, shredders, mowers, and more.
Tractors
Our tractor inventory runs from compact under-40 HP models up to 174 HP machines, covering everything from small acreage upkeep to serious agricultural work.
UTVs
Move your crew and gear across large project sites with our rugged utility vehicles.
Trailers
Transport materials safely with our bottom dump trailers, standard dump trailers, and semi trailers.
Pneumatic Equipment
High quality air compressors and pneumatic compactors for paving and commercial construction applications.
Water Trucks
Heavy duty water trucks for dust control and large scale water transport across your job site.
Wood Chippers
Clear land and manage timber and brush quickly with our towable wood chippers and mulchers.
Service You Can Count On, Before and After Delivery
At Double Edge, the rental does not stop when the machine leaves our yard. We run a full-service operation out of our Idaho Falls location, with three field trucks, five service bays, qualified mechanics on staff, and emergency on-call capabilities when you need help fast. Whether it is a routine oil change, hydraulic cylinder repair, or an emergency field fix, we have the equipment and the team to handle it.
That same standard of care goes into every machine before it ever reaches your job site. We go completely through our fleet on a regular basis so you are never handed a machine that is going to let you down.
Ready to BuyInstead of Rent?
Nearly everything in our rental yard is also available for purchase. If you are in the market for used machinery, we are one of the most active buyers and sellers of construction and agricultural equipment in the region.
Unlike typical as-is dealers, our mechanics fully inspect and service every piece of used equipment before it changes hands. No leaks, no deferred maintenance, ready to work from day one. We also offer consignment services if you have machines you are ready to move and want to maximize what you get out of them.
